The Authority has contracted with HRI, Inc of State College to replace the existing 6" water main on Beaver Avenue with a 12" water main. The work will be from Atherton Street to High Street on Beaver Ave. It will also continue on High Street from Beaver Avenue to College Avenue. The work is tentatively scheduled to begin on June 9 and will continue until mid-October. There has been night work scheduled for the section from Atherton Street to Pugh Street to minimize disruption to the businesses and residents along Beaver Avenue. Some traffic delays should be expected when traveling along Beaver Avenue and on intersecting streets. An alternate route to reach your destination may be beneficial.
